a. Information you provide to us.

• Account information: when you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address and phone number.

• Driver's licence information: in certain cases, we may require your driver's licence to link with specific rideshare applications. We do not store this information.

b. Information we collect automatically.

• Location data: with your permission, the native app sends your device location to provide driving features. Background location is used while the connected service is active and the required permission is enabled. You can manage location permissions in your device settings. Legacy integrations may use OwnTracks when configured.

c. Information from third-party sources.

• Rideshare platform data: we collect information from connected third-party accounts, including Uber, Lyft and future authorised integrations, about trips taken, schedules and general activity, only with your permission.

• Ride offer data: information about the rides offered to you, used to create aggregate statistics and improve our services.

• Usage analytics: we use Mixpanel to measure interactions with app features and purchase events. Events are associated with your KTARSYS account identifier, which may be your phone number, and may include platform, app version and plan information.

• Purchase history: we retain transaction identifiers, purchased products, dates and purchase status to validate, activate, restore and manage access to paid plans.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• Notify you of available rides and provide location-based advice.

• Provide, personalise and improve our services.

• Create aggregate statistics to enhance our offerings.

• Communicate with you about updates, offers and support.

• Ensure security and prevent fraudulent activities.

• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information:

• With service providers: to assist with payment processing, analytics and operational services. Stripe processes web payments, Apple processes iOS in-app purchases, and Mixpanel receives usage analytics. We do not receive full payment card details from Apple.

• For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of KTARSYS, our users or others.

• With your consent: when you explicitly agree to share your information.

Data retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested or as required by applicable laws. You may request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your credentials safe.
